The present church consists of chancel, nave of 5 bays, north and south aisles and west tower. It is of the 15th century constructed c1440.
A major restoration was carried out by E.B. Moffatt in 1839 during which the North Aisle (a copy of the South) was added. This was extended during a further restoration in 1897.
There is an interesting 17th cent memorial to Henry Scobell, Treasurer to Queen Anne.
